PLEDGE BY OCTOBER 31, 2002
FOR INCLUSION IN THE CONFERENCE FINAL PROGRAM AND SIGNAGE

Dear Friend of Gateway Partnerships:

On December 3-5, 2002, more than 500 people will gather at Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, located between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, to share ideas and experiences at a conference titled: Gateway Community Partnerships for Tourism & Conservation. Conference participants will represent travel and tourism organizations, state and local governments, chambers of commerce, federal land and water management agencies, private businesses and tribal nations.

On behalf of the Western States Tourism Policy Council and cooperating federal agencies, I invite you and your organization to participate as a conference sponsor. Sponsorship illustrates your support for tourism and conservation partnerships in the West.

Sponsors and exhibitors are important conference partners. Your participation as an exhibitor will expose the products and services you offer to potential clients. It’s good for your business or agency and it’s good for the conference. I’ve enclosed some information about this opportunity.

Exhibit space will be in the prefunction and foyer areas immediately adjacent to the conference rooms to provide prime viewing and accessibility. Displays will primarily be table top, and in 10 foot spaces. Computer hookups will be available. Over the three-day conference, there will be time set aside for optimum exposure for exhibitors.

This will be the second event of its kind in the West, and promises to be even more productive and valuable than its acclaimed 1998 predecessor. It’s a great opportunity to gain exposure for you and your organization among this community.

The primary focus of the conference will be on gateway community partnerships, fostering better public – private cooperation. Program tracks will include: technical and financial assistance; agency planning processes; tourism management and marketing; working with tribes; and highlighting special partnership case studies.

If you have questions about sponsorship or exhibiting at the conference, please contact Todd Davidson, Executive Director, Oregon Travel Commission, and Vice Chair of the Western States Tourism Policy Council, at 503-986-0007 or todd.davidson@state.or.us

We hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
