VTNE Examinations
VTNE applicants must be approved by the Alaska Veterinary Board to sit for the exam.
The application for the exam must be done directly with AAVSB. The VTNE exam dates
are the same every year. Visit the American Association
of Veterinary State Boards website for locations and more information.

NAVLE Examinations
NAVLE applicants must be approved by the Alaska Veterinary Board to sit for the exam.
The application for the exam must be done directly with NBVME. The NAVLE is held in April
and November of each year. Locations, candidate bulletins and other information may be
obtained from the National Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners website.
