CONFIDENTIALITY
OF DOCUMENTS REGARDING THE EXAMINATION OF State Farm Mutual
Automobile Insurance Company
Whereas,
the I find that the Alaska Division of Insurance should participate
in a multistate examination of State Farm Mutual Automobile
Insurance Company;
Whereas,
the laws of Alaska and other states participating in the multistate
examination of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company
may require that information shared with other participants
in the multistate examination be withheld from public disclosure;
and
Whereas,
the division will be permitted to participate in the multistate
examination only if it withholds public disclosure of materials
provided by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners
(NAIC) or other states whose laws require such materials to
be kept confidential;
Now Therefore,
I find it is in the public interest to withhold public disclosure
of materials received from the NAIC or other states when designated
as confidential by the providing state, and
THE
DIRECTOR HEREBY ORDERS:
All materials
received from the NAIC or other states that designate those
materials as confidential shall be withheld from public disclosure
under the authority of AS 21.06.150(g).
This
order is effective August 4, 2000.
