Financing Section
The Division of Economic Development combines the former Division of Investments and the Office of Economic Development to increase the effectiveness of organizations with similar missions. The Division will operate from State offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau. These web pages will be revised in the coming days to reflect ongoing changes within the operation of the new Division.
The Financing Section administers a portfolio of state loan programs, including Commercial Fishing, Fisheries Enhancement, Small Business Economic Development (SBED), Rural Development Initiative Fund, and Capstone Avionics. Assumptions on existing loans are also available on a number of loan programs. Please refer to each loan fund for details on eligibility and other terms.
