Internal Waters Processing Permit Application Submittal Period

The State of Alaska receives an Internal Waters Processing (IWP) Permit Applications, under 16 U.S.C. 1856(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. An IWP permit allows a foreign-registered, floating, processing facility to process approved species within a state's internal waters.

Applicants being either the owner or operator of the foreign fishing vessel, or a person representing the owner or operator and wishing to submit a permit application may do so at any time. A processing fee of $5,000 must accompany the permit application.
